Most CELTA courses out there are run over 4 weeks, Monday to Friday, very intensively. There are also some options which run over 5 weeks, .One of the drawbacks of the full-time contact CELTA is the speed at which information is imparted, which is often too fast to take on board everything in just 4 weeks or 5 weeks. However, our CELTA allows for more time for you to process information and prepare for teaching practice. How do we do this? Our timetable is either:

What’s the timetable like?:
Monday to Friday: Input sessions online via Moodle(open source learning platform), flexible timetable, at your own convenience(i.e. there is not an specific time when you need to be available online during the week). |
Teaching Practice, Feedback and Guided Lesson Planning: only once a week, you will have to be connected for 4 hours of live sessions. Moreover, on the selected day there will be a morning and a evening shift so that we can cater for people with different time requirements. |
Three specific Saturdays throughout the course you will need to attend 2 hours of live seassions (not Teaching Practice). These extra hours are video recorded for later access if necessary. |

Most CELTA courses include four written assignments which candidates have to submit during the course in the following order:
- Language Skills Task: Due week 2
- Language Task: Due week 3
