What is the purpose of the test?

The test is designed to assess the development of verbal and non-verbal skills of pre-school pupils during the process of learning English as a second language. It promotes the alternative thinking strategy. Assesses preschoolers’ social and communicative competence in a second language. Measures attentional skills. Provides objective, quantitative evidence of externally tested progress and achievement. Nurtures the student’s academic journey.

What ages is the test designed for?

The test is designed for students between the ages of 4 and 7 who are in pre-school. Excellent for those finishing Kinder 3, Pre-primary or pre-first.

Test format

Two skills are assessed: Listening and Speaking.

Four skills are assessed: Listening (Listening), Reading (Reading), Writing (Writing) and Speaking (Speaking).

Classroom Format (CDMX only)

Reading, Listening and Writing – 30 to 50 minutes.


Each skill is tested per day and each one lasts about 10-15 minutes.

A laptop, tablet or desktop computer with active video and microphone is required.

Students receive a diploma with their individually reported results and are assigned a specific number of stars according to their performance and the actions they can take in each area.
